  1. Convex mirrors are used as side view mirrors in a car to see the traffic behind. This is because of the following reasons: The image formed in a convex mirror is highly diminished due to which a convex mirror gives a wide field of view of the traffic behind the vehicle.

  2. Quotes of the Day..
” It always seems impossible until it is done.”

  3. A convex mirror is a diverging mirror in which the reflective surface bulges towards the light source. They are not used to focus light as they reflect light outwards. The image formed by convex mirrors are smaller than object but gets larger as they approach the mirror.

  4. *The side mirrors of vehicles are type of CONVEX MIRROR.
*Convex mirrors are used as side view mirrors in a car to see the traffic behind.
*Convex mirrors have very wide field of view as they are curved outwards.
*So, the convex mirrors enable the driver to view much larger area than a plane mirror.
*One of the most common uses for the convex mirror is the passenger-side mirror on your car.
*These convex mirrors are used for cars because they give an upright image and provide a wider field of view as they are curved outwards.

*The convex mirror is also used to provide safety for motorists on roads, driveways and in alleys where there is a lack of visibility.

  5. “QUOTE OF THE DAY”
IF THE PLAN DOES NOT WORK, CHANGE THE “PLAN”
    BUT NEVER CHANGE THE “GOAL”…..

    Convex mirror

We prefer a convex mirror as a rear-view mirror in vehicles, because it gives a wider field of view, which allows the driver to see most of the traffic behind him.
Convex mirror always form a virtual, erect, and diminished image of the objects placed in front of it.
