check all operating parameters of the engine as they
would function in real time.
• The test lasted for 11 seconds.
• The scramjet is a more advanced version of the ramjet
engine and can operate efficiently at hypersonic speeds.
• India is the fourth country to demonstrate the flight
testing of a Scramjet Engine.
